Keratoconus is a condition where the cornea gradually thins and bulges into a cone shape, distorting vision. Treatments such as corneal cross-linking aim to strengthen and stabilise the cornea to slow or stop progression, sometimes combined with special lenses or other procedures to improve vision.

How it's done, step by step
